We're delighted to announce that the Be Collective app has a fresh, clean new look!

Our menu and header bar have been redesigned to make navigation and our search tool more accessible, with a bold new colour scheme for enhanced readability. These changes will apply across the Be Collective app, for all users.

We've also made some updates to the group management interface to make basic actions and settings easier to find.

All other areas of our app, whether you're a volunteer or volunteer manager, remain unchanged, so there's no need to worry about relearning how to use Be Collective!

What's changed?

Navigation menu

In addition to a new colour scheme, we've streamlined the list of items in the navigation menu. These changes are as follows:

• Manage my groups and Manage my events have been consolidated into a single menu item for management, My groups. This menu item will open the existing 'Manage my groups' page.
• Event management can now be accessed only through the Events tab of your group management page.
• Search is now an expandable menu item. When clicked, it expands to show search options, for opportunities, groups and events.

Header and search

Our header bar has also been updated - the search bar can now be clearly identified within the header, and the notification and message icons are larger and clearer. The functionality of these items remains unchanged.

Group management actions

If you're a group manager, you can perform the following actions from any section of your group management page:

• Add opportunities, events or members
• Edit your group
• View your group's public profile
• Message your group

These actions were previously accessible through the ✏  and ➕ buttons, and the ... menu in the navigation bar. These buttons have been removed, and each action is now shown clearly on your group management page, next to the group's name.

Group management settings

Our final update is to group management settings, which can be found in the Settings tab of your group management page.

The sections within settings were previously navigated through tabs at the top of the settings interface. These tabs have now been moved into a navigation menu on the left, making them easier to find and more distinct from the primary navigation tabs of your group.

We hope these changes make Be Collective easier and more enjoyable to use!
